Supreme Court Says Retweets Equal Endorsements, Views Of Employer

(WASHINGTON) In a stunning 9–0 decision, the Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that retweets are, in all cases, endorsements. The unanimous opinion, authored by Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor, further notes that “tweets, retweets and posts of any kind represent the exact and legally binding views of one’s employer, regardless of content.”
