Nate Silver’s Husband Projects 85% Chance of Divorce If Decision Were Made Today

Nate Silver, the founding editor of popular polling analytic site FiveThirtyEight, faces some challenges securing his marriage for another year, according to projections released by his husband Tom.

“After running our simulation 100 times, it’s clear that [Nate] has no intention of helping with the laundry despite numerous opportunities to pivot and earn my continued affection,” says Tom, 39. “We are therefore projecting that our marriage will most likely end within the next quarter, though there is room for significant movement should he fix his behavior and, you know, get off his phone when my parents are visiting.”
