Looters Return To Crime Scene

--

Looters Kelly Loeffler and Richard Burr returned to the scene of their crimes yesterday as the Senate was gaveled to order. The abbreviated session is primarily meant to continue Leader Mitch McConnell’s push to confirm Trump’s judicial picks. The Senate will not focus on the lawless and selfish looting by at least two of its members .

Looter Kelly Loeffler (R-Georgia)

The absolutely unacceptable crime spree by Loeffler and Burr began, sources say, with a confidential members-only briefing on the then-developing coronavirus pandemic. The Senators then used the information from that presentation, which other investors did not have access to, to make dozens of profitable stock trades. Senator Looeffler’s trades occurred within hours of one such briefing. Loeffler’s husband is chairman of the New York Stock Exchange. The couple donated a million dollars to Trump’s reelection campaign shortly after the Senator’s looting past was made public.

Coincidentally, the Department of Justice never brought charges against Loeffler for her reckless tacky looting of tax-payer funded confidential information for private gain. Burr’s phone was eventually obtained by warrant and he stepped down as Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee to spend more time with his family and ill-gotten gains.

Looter Richard Burr (R-NC)

There was no police response to the criminals’ presence. Both thugs were allowed to walk the halls of Congress throughout the day. Experts believe this access was likely used to “case” the place for more to steal. “Looters like this are sneaky,” said a Capitol Police source who declined to be named protecting and serving. “We let them get away with everything. Loeffler stole a [button that says ‘That Was Easy’] off of [Majority Whip Senator John] Thune’s desk after a caucus meeting.” The vandals with no respect for their communities who should be roundly denounced by all decent Americans left the Senate Building at approximately two p.m and were immediately not taken into custody or questioned by Capitol Police. Helicopter footage shows them congregating with like-minded individuals on the capitol steps before suddenly not being teargassed or brutalized by militarized cops.

Defenders of the pair note that Loeffler’s crimes were inexcusable because of her reported pre this-particular-theft net wealth of $500 million. “Burr was different,” said a friend. “He was only worth about $4 million. At that point a man’s got to do what a man’s got to do to put food on the table.”

In response, Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer has issued a statement demanding a call for a meeting about a committee concerning a rules-based tweak that could significantly alter the idea of the process that senators could begin to have discussions about with prominent stakeholders. “We hope to have it marked up by Sunday,” Schumer said outside his office. “And if we don’t, that’s fine, too.”
