Kanye West Threatens Kanye West With Legal Action For Playing Kanye West Track At Rally

--

IOWA— Kanye West is threatening himself with legal action after one of his songs was used at a Kanye West campaign rally despite several cease-and-desist directives from himself.

Kanye West has won 21 Grammy awards and is now seeking sole control of the nation’s nuclear stockpile.

West’s representatives issued a statement Thursday condemning the use of the song “POWER” at the event in Des Moines, Iowa.

“At his Kanye behest, we have notified Mr. West that continued use of Mr. West’s music to promote Mr. West’s campaign for President violates Mr. West’s rights as sole creator of the content. Further, Mr. West, should he choose to continue playing said track, would face a lawsuit from Mr. West for breaking said embargo. Mr. West wants to emphasize that he is ‘willing to work’ with Mr. West on a ‘collaboration track’ that could be played at the events. He has the utmost respect for Mr. West’s world-class once-in-a-lifetime absolutely unmistakable genius and looks forward to working with him in a West White House.”

Representatives from Mr. West declined to comment.
